Commercial Account Manager
We are looking for a highly dependable and personable individual to work closely with our President, Victoria Stanhope, in the role of Commercial Account Manager in our firm’s fast-paced commercial lines department. This is a permanent, full-time position that is available immediately.
We are seeking a self-motivated insurance professional who takes initiative. Diligence and organizational skills are imperative. Applicants should consider themselves to be team-oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills. We are looking for a client-focused individual with the ability to foster and build positive professional relationships with colleagues and clients. A successful candidate is adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic office environment.
The Commercial Account Manager role requires both individual and team work. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a broad portfolio of large and complex commercial insurance accounts under the leadership of Victoria and her team.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Working hand in hand with our commercial clients including the provision of professional and practical insurance advice
- Diligently and carefully reviewing insurance policies and related documentation for accuracy and preparing same for clients
- The preparation of insurance and related documentation to be provided to clients, underwriters and other professionals
- Accounting assistance, billing/invoicing
- Other tasks related to the daily administration of a broad portfolio of large and complex commercial insurance accounts
- Attending meetings with clients
Education/Experience Requirements for this Role:
- Insurance experience is an absolute requirement
- Post-secondary education is an asset
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe, Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required
- Insurance-related education and/or professional designations are considered very important assets
