This is a permanent, full-time position that is available immediately.

The Commercial Account Manager & Surety Assistant role requires both individual and team work. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a broad portfolio of large and complex commercial insurance accounts under the leadership of Victoria and her team. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the administration of surety bonds.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Working hand in hand with our commercial clients including the provision of professional and practical insurance advice
- Diligently and carefully reviewing insurance policies and surety bonding related documentation for accuracy and preparing same for clients
- The preparation of insurance and related documentation to be provided to clients, underwriters and other professionals
- Accounting assistance, billing/invoicing
- Other tasks related to the daily administration of a broad portfolio of large and complex commercial insurance & surety bonding accounts
- Attending meetings with clients
Education/Experience Requirements for this Role:
- Insurance broker experience is an absolute requirement
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe, Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required
- Insurance-related education and/or professional designations are considered very important assets (and other post-secondary education is viewed as a benefit but not a requirement)
